More than drawing

Besides drawing a lot I love teaching about creating visual notes yourself. Visual notetaking is a very handy tool to use during meetings at work or even during class at school.

During the workshop will work on sumarizing a text of your choice. We look for the highlights and create visuals showing these highlights. What to draw where on your paper and what fonts to use are all elements that will be taught.
The power of a visual
​
When we create a visual, our left and right brain will be working together. This is also called the Dual Coding Theory. A word is connected to a visual and creates a connection between the two. Besides understanding the definition better it's now much easier to remember the word.
